Coming to this video after your transformation video on August 31. Gotta say... Arun from this video would be so damn proud of the Arun from August 31❤️. Also, this has also motivated me towards starting a 3-month transformation of my own starting today till November 31. I too have been obsessing way too much over a side hustle ever since covid and it has absolutely destroyed my health over the last 2 years. I've gained over 30 percent of my precovid weight which is extremely dangerous. My social relationships have completely fallen apart and my productivity at work is going down and down. While I've achieved significant progress in my side hustle, the question is at what cost. I have had a comeback plan but never really started it. Gonna start now. I'll try to come back to this comment on November 31. Thank you for inspiring me Arun❤️❤️❤️

Please don't forget that it's both your mind and body that need care. Sure, weight gain is the physically noticeable aspect of pushing yourself too hard on INclips. But mental fatigue looks way worse. Panic attacks, anxiety, trips to the ER, etc. You should limit yourself to a certain amount of hours per week. Set boundaries, give yourself days off every week. Completely disconnect.

Agree with everything you said. Whoever says INclips is easy hasn't tried it yet. There was a time when I uploaded a new video for 2 years almost every single day. The physical aspect can be managed by working out, but mentally it drains out every last hormone. What you're left with is a body that doesn't want to wake up and a brain without new ideas that wants to give up.

@Abhishek Ahirvar @Ahirvar: While I can appreciate your point of view, I have to say that I have done both technical/IT jobs and construction jobs. Anyone completely devoted to either discipline will tell you that mental demands are just as intense as physical ones. Either can have a negative effect on your health. Try doing either one while you are the owner of the business. You just don't go out and hire more bodies. That can kill your bottom line and do a disservice to whomever you hire if you have to let them go due to your business not being able to support the extra manpower. Let's not turn this into a d _ _ k measuring contest. Try respecting another person's positive contributions (10.6M subscribers worth) to the human gene pool. All while remaining humble.

Just made a similar decision in my life! I'm a translator, sitting in front of my computer all day long, too. I've been so overworked, underslept, dehydrated, stressed - I've gone to gray hairs, weight gain, and even developed SVT, which is terrifying. Its always scary, when suddenly your body doesn't respond the way it did, and you lose control over its most basic functions. I think this video is a great idea, and I think it's important for us to be able to admit these things to ourselves. Good luck, and I'll join you in the strive for bettering oneself! Showing courage through disclosure of one's vulnerability is always tough. Kudos. This is especially great for people who have no other support structure, it always helps to know you're not alone. Let's do it!

The quality is outstanding, I never feel like I'm out of date because of them and your personal thoughts on things like outdated technology, new technology how new and old technologies affect the environment is all worth considering. You take understanding these technologies to a new level and any criticism you have is always refreshing as it doesn't make me feel like your trying to sell me a product.. your just telling me how good or bad it is.

Hi, Arun, I've been following your channel for quite sometime and I am elated to see your progress and subscriber count. However, from personal experience, I know that excessive pursuit of growth and self improvement can be dangerous to your physical and mental health.
I was surrounded by people who were obsessed with "productivity" and "improvement" that I tried to push myself to their standard every single day. In the end, my mental and physical health deteriorated up to the point of depression and multiple suicide attempts.
Fortunately, I didn't end my life when I discovered a book called The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. As an addition to your current self improvement plant, maybe reading The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle can help you on a mental and deeper emotional level.
Overall, I am glad that you are making a choice to turn your life around and I wish you the best on your life situation.
    From your fan, David Allen.

I FEEL THE SAME EXACT WAY! For me it's entering the adult life, starting a life, job hunting etc. I have gotten more grey hairs over the past 3-5 years. I let myself go, eating junk food and consuming caffeine just to get by. I know the feel!

Hello Arun, while I applaud healthy changes, I'm worried that you are simply giving yourself more things to stress about. I wish you would just slow down and put out less content if it is too much. Don't you realise that the reason we watch you is mostly because of your lovely personality , you are such a nice young man and I constantly use your tech advice when looking for a new product . You explain everything so clearly so even an oldie like me has now got the courage to try new things . Please don't burn yourself out, just slow down and make less content so that you can stick to a proper working day with strict hours. What you need is actual time to yourself in the evenings to relax, visit friends etc. and at least one hour before bed to have a hot soak, then go to bed with a good book- a real book , no audiobooks, no heavy learning , no arty-farty deep meaning books, just a nice piece of fiction, like a good detective series. Thanks for all your great videos , but I would be happy to see less of them if it meant you had a more relaxed life. Arun, you are far to young to have a heart attack or stroke , but you are living with far to much stress and we don't want to see you make yourself ill. Please take care xx

@WILD7 Thank you for explaining about how INclips works , it all sounds really stressful , doesn't it? I'm sure his brain must never stop churning . If he was my grandson I would be worried sick about him . Your mention of more staff may help, if he can bear handling over his baby to others. Perhaps there will come a time when he decides that financially, he can manage with making less content. Anyway he seems to have a load of support and its clear that most viewers are genuinely concerned for his welfare, which is very nice to see. Ironically he has so many comments he probably doesn't get to read them. Good day to all 🤗

unfortunately its not just the viewers he has to satisfy to stay at the top its the yt algorithm, when your channel slows down or stops making progress the algorithm gives you less of a top slot in the suggestions.
many big channels have noticed this and had to adjust and do much of what Arun is doing, like paying for help to keep the channel running at the same pace so they can have a breather.
or branching the channel to other things and having cohost, i dont know if he will do this but it is a strategy to meet the upload quota and keep content going without having to be on the screen 100%. however runs the risk of loosing viewers.
best example of this working is linus tech tips although they did it mostly to increase productivity and coverage of new tech.
i do agree though it would be better for his health if he did what you suggest.

So if you are suffering because of the content you make we won't be angry at you for leaving. You don't even have to come back if you don't want to if this lifestyle is just to stressful to maintain forever, this is your channel you get to choose what you do with it. We would miss you but we want the best for you, as human beings we don't want to see anyone suffer.

Embarrassing? Not really. I admire what you're doing here, it takes real courage to talk to your audience about your mental health, you get it out of you and release the stress that way. You should take a break for a few weeks, you deserve it, and youtube needs Mrwhosetheboss and one that's in good shape.

Arun, really appreciate your honesty, and great job making your fitness plan simple! You can't go wrong with 10k steps per day, a healthy minimally processed diet, calorie deficit, high protein intake, progressive weight training, and good sleep. Remember, it's consistency over perfection. PS. I know you love apps, and it really helps to track your calories and macros for a few weeks to make sure you're reaching your targets.

When you eat like our ancestors did.. High fats, proteins and low carbs.. Calorie deficit is not required! You burn fat for fuel so I've never needed to be ona calorie deficit diet.
Infact since doing keto I now eat more calories that I used to and still lose weight (fat) while maintaining muscle.

@den jo I agree with you. I can walk for miles (trekked in Nepal, walked a few 30 milers in my times etc etc), but I don't walk every day (I try and go out for a 3 miler every other day), plus also, nowadays if I walk more than 13 miles, I get issues with my hips (I'm 59 years old). So I agree with you.
